My aqua terra went back for warranty twice with the 8200, just thought I would add this as its the only watch I have had to return under warranty twice.
Tudors whole premise is its made to be cheaper than a rolex.
But Without a doubt, Grand seiko offers the best finishing and quality for the price point
This is Watch Crunch. It's where Grand Seiko fan boys go to answer polls. You'll have got the same answer if you'd said Patek and VC instead of Tudor and Omega. 😂
What do you mean by build quality? Durability? Finishing? These are all special in its own way. Need to clarify.
By build quality I mean durability. I’m looking for a watch that would last longer without much of maintenance issues. One which I can wear daily without any mechanical issues per say.

Yes, I guess this is the wrong place to ask this question, maybe I should take grand SEIKO out of the options😂

I'm a Grand seiko fan boy and I'm not ashamed to say it, but I say it from experience and comparison to other watches I own or have owned.
I would 100% take a vacheron constantin over a GS though, patek aswell even though I'm not a huge fan of the current designs but that's subjective.
I don't think tudor belongs in the same price range though, it's a brand that it's sole purpose is to be cheaper than the other wilsdorf brand, subjectively I think they are the most boring watch brand to ever exist, they havent done anything interesting or innovative ever and I have seen San Martins with similar build quality.
Don't confuse milsub for quality, it usually means it was the cheapest that was offered and was readily available
Older MilSub most def.
Modern FXD is another animal entirely.
So much so, that even with official "endorsement"/contract/whatever they have from Panerai, the current black dialed FXD was because team guys were somehow ordering or requesting that variant.
And like so much else in our niche, enthusiast community, quality, etc is dependent on what intended use for.
Not saying a GS, VC, et Al wouldn't more than likely be fine for hard field use, but the Pelagos, and the FXD variant in particular, came about due to asking, what if/what would you like to guys out there doing work.
Also, the MN FXD in particular, was never intended as a backup. It's place was on a dive board, with compass, etc, for navigating specific headings, for a specific time length, to navigate to an objective, without surfacing.

I also have as close to zero interest in VC, GS, Omega, etc. as possible, but am interested in something more tool oriented that'll take a beating, be eligible, look good and be used for:
Rapeling, rucking through the mountains, tracking a demolition shot, and then later chasing a squirmy, unclothed toddler, freshly bathed, sprinting away from me, cackling with delight the whole time. YMMV.
And it's not for lack of trying either. Visited many AD's, and quite frankly am fed up with the games. Have yet to meet one of these "legendary" friendly AD's, keep trying, no joy to date.

Grand seiko sbgx343, sbgx265, sbgm245
My aqua terra went back for warranty twice with the 8200, just thought I would add this as its the only watch I have had to return under warranty twice.

Thank you.! This was very helpful
Hard use, actual issued equipment?
Cuz that's how I read it 😂.
Tudor, Pelagos LHD, FXD in particular. Full stop.
Just going off what I see on wrist, and yes, for some units, ACTUAL issued by the Govt stuff, Pelly all day err day.
Marathon/CWC close second.

I like all 3 brands for different reasons tbh
