Rolex Explorer ref 124270 cal 3230 accuracy report.

I picked up my Explorer at the AD back in early May. After 102 days of continuously running since then - worn 79 of those days and left dial up when not worn - its average daily rate is 0.0 seconds per day 🤯.

The Explorer’s 3230 movement tends to lose a little on wrist during the day and gain a little when not worn with the dial up overnight, keeping the average daily rate near 0 spd for long stretches. When left unworn over a couple of days it will be ahead a couple of seconds, but will shed most of them when worn overnight while sleeping and worn the following day.

Bottom line, I am impressed! Movement accuracy is always a bit of a lottery in my experience. Superlative Chronometer indeed 🫡

Wonderful post bro. Happy for you. Accuracy is still important to me and hate when EXPENSIVE watches have bad timing.

Happy to hear the 124270 is doing you right. Wear it in good health through good and bad times. It'll always be your dependable friend
