Any recommendations for pre owned luxury watches for 1500 usd ?

I’m looking into getting my 1st pre-owned luxury watch from a well established brand for example:

Tudor , Longines and omega.

My budget is 1500 usd.

Ideally it’s pre-owned

Currently looking at the Tudor 1926

Personally, I’d recommend finding a watch you really love as your first luxury purchase and then saving towards that; even if it’s beyond your current budget. If you’re going to be dropping serious coin on something, it should really be something that has a special place in your affections.

Don’t just spend the money for the sake of spending the money, and compromising on whatever you can afford.

There’s a subtle, but distinct difference between

“I love this watch; and therefore I spent a lot of money to acquire it”

And

“I spent a lot of money of this watch; and therefore I love it”

I agree with english_archer. Don’t just spend the money on a watch because that what you can get in that price range. Wait a while, really search for what you like. Shop around. Keep a wish list. What’s your style? Tool? Dress? Sport? What are you aiming for? I’ve done this with guitars and watches. Bought guitars that I then sold to fund a Rolex, wasn’t the model I really wanted and ended up selling that to buy another guitar. Don’t get caught up in the loop!

I was in this position.

My first luxury timepiece was the Omega Speedmaster.

But it wasn’t going to be.

I had a budget of around £2500. I looked at Tudor, Longines; the usual suspects. Once I’d tried the Speedmaster, I knew it was going to be that watch. Somehow.

(After trying it on for about the fifth time, in as many weeks, my wife just leant over to me and whispered “Just buy the f*cking thing!”)

It took me nearly another year of scrimping and saving, and selling off a couple of things, to get the money together. But now I know that Speedmaster is never leaving me, and will be with me until the day I die.

I honestly want this to be the same for everyone who buys their first (and maybe only) luxury watch.

Find the perfect watch, then get the money.

I’d love a speedy, but it’s way out of budget right now
