Can you buy the movement outside Seiko authorized lines? I know it's difficult getting it here, particularly high-end movements like 8L35 and 6L37.
The best version of the Alpinist in my opinion Nazrain. Love the blue of the dial, the GMT complication and the lovely absence of a Cyclops! Nice!

I plan to replace it with NH movement. I think it is difficult to replace it with 4R or 6R too. 4R and 6R is same 21600 bit per second. hopefully same size too.

I missed the original SARB017 and the successors that came after that had cyclops which like you, I'm not a huge fan. Have a wonderful day Miguel 🍻
