And In my view just wear what you liked on your wrist don't go by sizes if you think it's looking good on your wrist then just wear it Like I wanted a duro but it's not looking good on my wrist so I skipped it.
Yes just start with the Gshock 5600 or 5000 you can definitely pull these off with ease
And next you can try the casioak you might also like them on your wrist and then if you want try 6900 too maybe it will work for your wrist or it will not.

5600s and 5000s I mean all the squares you can easily pull off and in my view even Casioaks too you can easily wear it will not look odd.

I can pull it off with ease
But I'm a lil skeptical about G-SHOCKs tho
