Nice touch to add just a little bit of sophistication to an already handsome watch. I modded three different MDV106's with a domed sapphire on a black and a blue one, and the other black version has a sapphire cyclops crystal.
It is an inexpensive enough watch, just give it a shot. Especially if you find it at Walmart on clearance. Also putting it on a milanese mesh from AliEx is a cheap and very comfortable option.

May well do, I think they look great for the price 👍
One issue I have with this Duro is that the bezel is tight. It was tight lrior to the sapphire. Any suggestions on how to loosen it?
I think that is just the nature of the beast. All three of the Duros I have are really tight to get the bezel to rotate. Also, it doesn't help that the bezel edge has very smooth notches on it. Maybe there would be a way to take a tiny dremel attachment and grind out the bezel to make it more grippy.

Very nice. I was thinking about doing the same to my two.
Great work!!!
Thank you both. I tried in the past but gave up because I couldn’t find the lever to release the stem. That was a couple years ago.
They look so much better with a better crystal don’t you think?
Good job on the install nice looking Duro 👏🏻

Love these watches just think they may be too big for my skinny wrist 😂

My wrist is about 7.25” these days. But I see people online wearing them with sub 7” wrists.
