Square or Circular? Pedral Artefact
Ive Been eyeballing the Pedral Artefact on Kickstarter for a week now, wondering if its square or Circular. What do you say?
It is indeed a very unique design that would pop on the wrist. But I cant get a grip of the shape. Its interesting to say the least..

Looking at the central portion of the dial, I can see there are some sections of the shape that are flat, which means that it's a rounded square. If it had only curved lines, it would be a shape called a squircle, and if it had more pointy corners it would be called a cushion.

It's the combination of different concentric shapes that does my eyes in. A rounded square nestled in a circle nestled in an implied octagon. Like a turducken of geometry.
Square - no
Circular - no
Ugly - yes
Whatever it is I like it 👌 Colours are on point as well. Instantly recognisable unique design language, great deal as well 👍
I guess the base of the case has the same shape as a round watch, so it’s mostly circular. Did you see @DutchWatchChannel‘s review of the Pedral Artefact on YouTube ?

Absolutely, same here. It is a classic design yet very unique Thanks to its shape. Maybe too many colors to choose from though, a bit frustrating. Its like buying milk these days - there are too many variants to choose from! 😛
