It IS an Omega Museum Collection number 9 in white gold, throwing it back to 1941. Perhaps it helped, in some way, to inspire the Speedmaster? What do you think? In any case I love it, even if it’s a bit posh for a tool watch.

Yes it is, and thank you. I agree, they’ve done some good things with this collection. This is kind of a companion post to one I made last week regarding homages and reissues. While I really enjoy the vintage pieces in my collection, I also really appreciate watches like this 1941 as well.

I love what all is going on with the dial and how everything is set up aesthetically. I do love busy with the right layout even if I would never take advantage of or actually be able to read what was happening on it haha.
