My love for watches grew exponentially in 2023 alongside with my religious like enthusiasm about the german industrial metal band, Rammstein and pretty much everything Till Lindemann does in the music industry.

I wanted to connect these two great interests of mine and get a cool german watch.

I gravitated towards Laco, because of the affordability, heritage, history and so on. Ive been a history buff since I was a little kid and ww2 is probably the most exciting period in history.

I went with this gorgeous Augsburg Polar, mainly because of the great deal I got pre owned and it being a limited edition, which is the only marketing trickery that really works on me.

So far Im very happy, it wears great, looks great, feels like a quality item and the open caseback lets me see a slightly decorated movement, which I never experienced before.

Im planning on getting a B dial variant as well, and that would make a great pair. Weißes fleich und Schwarzes blut.😁

Seen Rammstein live twice - truly the most epic stage show. And what Till is doing solo is truly avant garde and pushing boundaries. Great taste in music.

Laco is a great brand and you have a sharp watch. You may end up liking the B dial better once you pick one up - if for nothing else because it's more unique.

German rock and watches are superb and deep rabbit holes. Enjoy the journey!
