English brand on a gloomy day

Don't get a lot of foggy, cloudy days in my neck of the woods, seemed like a good occasion to wear a London-based brand.

I picked this up second-hand on eBay; it was a good deal but unfortunately the leather strap it came on is too stiff for me, and the bracelet on its own from CW is over $200.

I think I'll buy a sailcloth strap for it next, or maybe just bite the bullet and purchase the CW bracelet. Does anyone care to share their experiences with C65 stock bracelets?

Please and thank you!

No knowledge yo impart I'm afraid but I like the watch very much.

Mark at Island watches sells some good bracelets to upgrade seikos and Orients, not sure why they wouldn't also fit a CW?

I appreciate the tip mate. I've purchased after-market bracelets that weren't made specifically for the watch I was putting them on and the end links would end up loose or not fitting quite right. I've got a bit of undiagnosed OCD and am wary of doing this again.

Fair one! I haven't done it myself yet so I'm only guessing really. The Island bracelets are specific to particular orient models so they should be OK. I'm planning on a Christopher Ward purchase at some point. I think you get a lot for your money and get good reviews generally.

Agreed. On top of good Q/C they have good customer service so even if you end up with an issue they'll make it right, as long as you buy it directly from them.
