#NWA: Full-circle back on the watch I loved, hated, avoided, only to love it again?

I got my first mechanical watch in 2012 after completing my mandatory military service (RoK) and haven't stopped wearing watches since. The watch is Seiko SRP307 (2nd Gen Monster) still being worn today, and had only one service recently, which costed nearly as much as the watch itself - worth every penny, of course.

I saved up two full-years from working at Radio Shack, selling Window Phones (R.I.P.), to purchase my second serious watch - a Moonwatch. After wearing it all the time, I began feeling bored and wondering when will I ever get to the moon myself. It has to be wound daily, can't dive with it (though you technically could), scratches easily on the crystal, etc... Every time I saw a person wearing a Speedy Pro on his wrist, I thought to myself, what a boring watch that is. Needless to say, I flipped it and went with another watch.

Nearly ten years and nearly 15 different monochromatic chronographs (a post for another day) later, I could not resist on buying a Speedy Pro after seeing these photos of my favorite Bond training for his role rocking one on a black nato strap. I spend the past few years becoming a dad as the first time, parenting, and slowly getting out of shape. So these photos motivated me to get back exercising regularly to support my family and myself mentally and physically.

Do you have any watches you came back full-circle?

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
