Seiko Chronograph Perpetual Calender Alarm, (SPC251P1), Quartz Movement 7T86, 40.5mm case size, 20mm lug to lug, 9.7mm thickness.

This was one of the two birthday watch that I bought for myself. My first chronograph with all these additional complexity built into it, as well having a sapphire crystal glass as a first.

It is a discontinue model. It is somewhat a rare find due to being a smaller case size and have sapphire crystal. I bought it used (won a bid) so it was much cheaper than new, about half off. The eBay seller didn’t know what’s the model of this really was. Labeled as the larger model SPC131, which have have the 45mm case size.

You can tell by the crown and the label on the back. The crown have a black acrylic coating on it, where as the larger case model did not. Also the smaller case size comes with a sapphire crystal and the other one did not. This is a dressier model of the three small variance… suppose to come with a bracelet but it did not come with one. Really good condition and I love the watch more after changing to a new strap from the one it had on originally.

This one actually looks good. Taking all complications into consideration, dial doesn't feel that cramped at all.
