Are Mondaine watches good? Do you/would you have one? I last saw one a good few months ago, in TKMaxx and thought it looked a bit flimsy. But...Mondaine watches get good reviews.
I picked up a Mondaine Essence model about 7 weeks ago. Its their quartz sustainable watch - made with castor oil for the "plastic". I was looking for another inexpensive watch, but one with a little style. This particular one came on a pink strap (I bought it knowing I had a few other straps I would try it on) and it was on Amazon for $60 at the time. (Over $200 originally but I assume they had trouble selling the pink). I like it a lot, but again was looking for an inexpensive watch. I do really like their Evo2 automatics, but for $700 there are other watches I prefer the look of currently.
I collect affordable watches and if possible, ones with some history behind them. I like Vostok and have three of their's. I have a one-handed, Luch watch from Belarus and a beautiful, English, Elliot...
