Guilt strings!
For simply ‘an object’, watches seem to have an emotional connection with many of us. I find myself feeling guilty about not wearing some of my pieces (I have a couple of beaters that sit happily until needed) but my ‘select group’ tug at the guilt strings sometimes. I’m loving wearing my Sinn 857 at the moment but keep thinking I should put it away and bring out my others more often….. I’m not really one to change in a day (unless a beater is needed) but I find it hard to rationalise feeling bad for leaving my other nice ones in the box!

Yrs, I have exactly the same feelings. I could easily become a one watch wearer - I feel bad whenever I look at my wrist and it's not my sm300... I genuinely have to force myself to wear anything else in order to justify keeping them !

Thanks! I have a 2254.50 which is special as I had to save for a looooong time to afford it, then I got this Sinn and the SMP got parked and then I picked up my U1 and the 857 then got parked! I love all three of my ‘saved up for buys’ and have to now make myself rotate them…… and I’m now saving for an FXD! I think once that arrive I may need to rationalise a little!
