Thats a really nice gift from your daughter, you very lucky. It’s a nice looking watch but in my experience it can’t be referred to as a masterpiece.

In the traditional sense of a masterpiece you are absolutely right doesn’t fit the category. However, because it was a gift coming from teenage daughter I simply use the word expressing my personal admiration for the watch she chose for me.

I’d somehow stupidly overlooked the obvious and important significance that it came from your Daughter. That doesn’t just make it a masterpiece it makes it an absolute masterpiece.
