A month and a half ago I had absolutely zero desire to own a Casio watch. To be honest, I didn’t even care for the look of them. I took a job at a restaurant Friday and Saturday nights to help out an old high school buddy; while at Walmart picking up black pants and shirts for the new gig, I stumbled upon the Casio section. The F105 was $21, so I figured, “eh, why not? Then I don’t need to wear my nicer watches and risk getting food all over them 🤷🏻♂️”
Yesterday I went to Walmart to pick up a last minute Christmas card, and I saw the green F-91w. “I already have the 105… but maybe it would be nice to have a watch with some color to wear at the restaurant,” I thought. At $16 I couldn’t beat the price either. So yesterday I became the owner of two Casios - a brand that I really had no desire to mess with.
Well today my wife and I stopped at a different Walmart - which is crazy because if I go there 4 times per year that’s a lot, and here I am going twice in two days. This store had an all steel Casio for $21. As Kevin O’Leary says, ‘you aren’t a collector until you own three watches from a brand.’ Well damn, I guess I’m a Casio collector now.
This is the last one. I promise.

Casio is the gateway drug. Next year you’ll be picking up Timexes, then who knows where it will stop.
No help here…

No I have my eye on another Omega… no more watches until I add that one… that’s the plan at least 😂
