Black watch case with silver steel bracelet?

Style faux pas of epic proportions? Or just another idiosyncratic watch guy?

I really like the black bezel version of the 1953. But it costs nearly 300$can. While the all black version costs under 175$can.

I'm trying to envision what the black case and bezel would look like with a silver SS bracelet.

Conversely how the black bracelet might look with the silver steel case?

It's obvious that they will clash to some extent.

I have considered wearing the all black ensemble but I think that might overwhelm my slender wrist.

Perhaps I should just purchase the all black and report back on all this?😎😂

Thoughts, guffaws and japes welcome.😉😅

I have the all black version with a tropical black rubber strap. I think it looks great and feels good too.

Oh! That's a great idea. A black leather strap would reduce the apparent bulk as well.

It's discouraging that the black bezel version could be 160$ more than my coke bezel version.🤔

Thanks for your feedback.

I think a black PVD watch on a non-PVD bracelet would look incongruous and I wouldn't wear it that way. Probably no one else on the planet would care about it or even notice it. But, I would know and that's enough.

Our prices in Vancouver BC Canada are CRAZY!!! As a British Columbian myself I find the watch prices over the past 3 to 5 years have gone MENTAL!

I wouldn't wear a stainless steel bracelet with a PVD case. But we live in Vancouver ... Anything goes LOL 😂🤣
