New for 2023: Zenith Defy a3691

This watch and design will certainly not be for everyone, but I for one am completely in love with it. The way the polished edges reflect light is pretty special in person, and I feel it wears perfectly. I am hoping to add one to my personal collection in the next year or so, but overall I’m so glad zenith is bringing back more revival deft models.

Try as I might, I can't get on board with the Defy range. Love the indices but something about the bezel seems over-designed in a way that other, angular, faceted designs don't. Love the brand, don't doubt it's a great watch but I can't find any love for it...

That is certainly a, um, unique look, that's for sure!

It certainly is over engineered. That might be one of the greatest achievements and flaws of this piece. I’ve looked at so many examples of vintage defy watches that have been so over polished, there isn’t a sharp edge left on it. It’s not a design for everyone but I can appreciate the case work for sure. I would suggest going hands on with one if you can, it’s much better in person 👍

Well it's for me! that's for sure. I love it, I love the scallop case, the indices, red dial. Everything! It's a Smoke show!
