I'm dumbfounded. I didn't think I'd have something to write, but this is something I must comment on.

Why do you find that so surprising??? If you were living in the 18th or 19th century.... I'd understand you,

Were you really unaware of the last discontinued generation of Seiko 5's that are off less than 6 secs/day (or at most 10 secs per day) if taken well care of, not to mention Rolex's automatics that are accurate within 2 secs/day, to name just two examples? Or did you ignore watches like those on purpose and try to obtain watches of much less known companies that have no reputation of manufacturing accurate timepieces?? I really don't understand.

Note that the rules demand being respectful........
