I buy new but prefer old!

Took a look at my collection as a whole yesterday. It's a mess but I have a plan to slim down to unusual Seamasters and a couple of modern dailies like the Explorer 1 36mm.

Any recommendations?

A great collection must be some interesting adventures finding individual watches. For me, I wanted iterations that I could wear daily, eliminated every vintage piece that did not meet that criterion, definitely a few mistakes along the way until I focused entirely on modern models with the exception of a handful that were either keepsakes or just nice to own.

Not really, Good luck. That’s an impressive collection. I’d don’t have your problem yet but when I do the sentimental watches will be the keepers. Then the watches that speak to me the most, the watches I wear the most I would keep. Then the watches that I know I’ll miss……

I couldn’t do it. Good luck again?

I’ll take that Reverso off your hands. Really, its no trouble at all.

I practically gave away a Grand Seiko SBGA413 to fund the Reverso. To be honest it's my favorite and the only one i wouldn't part with.

thats exactly my thinking... keep a couple of interesting Seamasters and vintage Rolex/Tudor and offload the rest. However, i have a think about empty slots in my watch box lol
