Aquastar - Benthos 500 - Military Stamped

Hi All,

Can anyone provide info on a Benthos 500 I recently purchased?
Its running but need work, current with my watchmaker.

I'd also appreciate strap recommendation. I'm thinking of a Tropics from AS.

The Benthos 500 was a special watch for Aquastar😀. It was their first watch pressure tested for 500 meters in depth capacity. Probably the only watch that aimed for that particular depth rating at a time where the 🤴⚓ could only go to 200m😂. That's why the model proudly states "500" in the printing to compliment the BENTHOS name in reference to the bottom of the sea🤿💪. The movements they used were A. Schild 1902 and 2162 with no serial number as to give an exact date of production, but they all are circa 1962 to 1972.

Great find 🙌💯💥!
