For me I find depending on the homage it could give you that sort of feel of having your Grail. Homages have changed over the years. Back in the day they were cheap piece of metal , now 316L , NH35 movement and the finish are pretty good. I bought this Peter Lee as I love the Explorer II.. that Peter Lee actually made me want the Explorer II more and so the saving continues.. same 42mm case and thickness. It was the only one I found close to the specs of my grail. I refuse to buy a fake as it feels your cheating on your dream. I have other homages I have bought, hoping it would give the same feeling but, at times it does not. I find it difficult to waste an AD time if I do not have the funds and a simple wear in the store for me doesn't give me real life experiences. Each to their own. Enjoy.
