I have a similar model. I am having problems with the battery. I put a new one in and in about 12 hours it's dead again. Do you have any problems with yours?

Just retire it. My father's was a Casio with altimeter etc and it was terrible on battery's toward the end of it life. It did the same exact thing your is doing now.

Thanks for the info. I work outdoors a lot and I wanted to use it because it tells the temperature and all. I guess I will have to do without or find something else.

Move to something newer say Garmin to help you there. I'd say the something is stuck open or on in the old Casio . Look into Garmin or newer Casio for your needs. Best wishes

No, I haven't even changed the battery yet. I have had it 2-3 years. That is surprising.
