Task & Purpose Article about WWI American Made Trench Watches

American horology is finally getting the respect it deserves! I was recently interviewed by reporter Jeff Schogol with Task & Purpose, a highly respected American military news agency. We talked about American made WWI military watches and I laid it all out for him. FAR too often inept writers in the watch industry erroneously give credit for EVERYTHING ever conceived to the Swiss watch manufacturers. But, times are changing and the TRUTH is FINALLY being published in major outlets. The Americans played a much bigger role in horological advancements than they are given credit for. Very glad I had the opportunity to contribute to this article! Great job Jeff! The article link is below.

I wish they'd bring back this style of band. They make so much sense. Off to read the article.

Almost nobody ever mentions how the War Between the States in the US popularized pocket watches for the common man.

Everything I've learned about watch history, I learned from Pulp Fiction.

Is that the same place some manufacturers are pulling their designs from?

Every time I put my faith in Somebody and ask them a question they let me down. Then they try to excuse it by saying Nobody knows. Maybe I'm asking the wrong people.
