Farer Universal Bernina Chronograph Sport on Erika's Originals Corsa RWB MN Strap
This Sunday's WWC is my Farer Bernina Chronograph Sport. I like the Corsa RWB MN Strap from Erika's Originals. Definitely think the thin trio of Red White and Blue center stripes compliments this watch and further enhances the racing motorsports theme. And, the "Corsa" name is also inspired by motorsports racing. A perfect match! BTW, I used to have a MOMO Corsa steering wheel for one of my cars.
There are other color combinations of the Corsa. But, this is probably my favorite. I have a thing for red, white and blue accents.. and sometimes with yellow. Something about those particular primary colors. Anyways...
Been kind of a chronograph streak for my wrist lately.. idk? Maybe 'cause there's been a fair amount of recent very cool chronographs releases. Been so tempted to add a couple of the newer ones. Can't have them all, unfortunately.
My best remedy is to revisit same genre of watch interest, the chronograph in this instance. That usually removes the itch to buy.
More importantly, I get a sense of a renewed relationship with some cool watches I know I already have. I know that sounds silly. But, as fellow watch enthusiasts you know it's kind of true, too.
I would not consiser it a new honeymoon phase.. more like a needed vacation together to refresh and rediscover why you fell in love with the watch. The fortified appreciation for the watch makes me glad I have and continue to enjoy it in the collection and in wrist.
