Dare I say, "perfect"? (Unclestraps.com Review)

The word "perfect" is subjective, right? Fair enough. That said, this bracelet combo is perfect... for me. Let me tell you why.

I've been planning and sourcing parts for this build for over a month now. The final piece just came in yesterday. That final piece is this Uncle Straps jubilee.

Image

This jubilee was created specifically to fit the 62mas case. My smaller wrist size(6.5 in.) limits me from wearing larger cases, and this 40mm case was close to being too big. But, as you can see the end-links are female, so they are snug and turndown perfectly at the bottom of the lugs, making it fit like a dream.

The finishing on the bracelet is completely brushed, which I love because it compliments the tool watch vibe of the 62mas case. It also tapers from 20mm at the case to 18mm at the buckle, this just adds to the comfort of the piece as a whole.

The one thing that isn't ideal is the clasp. The construction is milled, but the connector snaps in rather than release via button.

This is a very small issue that is more of a preference than anything negative. But I had to find something to criticize.

This mod build is my favorite creation as of this moment, and this Uncle bracelet absolutely adds to it's end result. If you need a nicely finished, form-fitting Seiko bracelet I would give Unclestraps.com a try.

Uncle always comes through.

Love the Kanji on the dial! Can't believe that hasn't been used more.

As you've said, this watch is perfect for you since you've assembled the components you want in a watch. I've only modified a couple of watches but it can certainly give a watch a new lease of life. I had an old Seiko Turtle which I wasn't wearing and my father had a beaten up quartz diver so I put a dome sapphire crystal on it together with a ceramic bezel, MM300 hands and a steel bracelet. Those couple of changes made all the difference and my father never takes it off.
