Sugess Tourbillon Master SU8230SW

When I first stumbled upon the review of this watch on Watchfinder’s Youtube channel, it blew my mind as a starting watch collector that there’s so many options to look out for outside of Switzerland, Germany & Japan.

So, I decided to take the plunge & purchased this watch: the Sugess Tourbillon Master SU8230SW. I’ve had it for 2 months now and I have not regretted it at all. The finishing, enamel dial, Arabic numerals, heated blue hands and most fascinatingly the tourbillion come together and feel like such a luxurious piece. It’s one of those pieces where you get lost staring at the dial & tourbillion.

Now I’m deciding if I’m want to take the same plunge on the Seagull Zi Xuan Chrono. What other non conventional watches or micro-Brand’s do you guys typically look out for?

That's fantastic, man!  I genuinely think this is the first tourbillon I've seen posted on WC!  Do you feel anything at all as the mechanism makes its way around?  I've always wondered if perhaps you could "feel" it going round?  (Probably a really dumb question!)

Not at all mate, there are no dumb questions amongst watch enthusiasts. Only positive vibes here.

I don’t feel any movement as the tourbillion is functioning at all. The only comment I have is that the movement is louder than most, meaning I can hear the ticking especially when it’s silent. Not so bad, but I actually like it in some ways. Kind of like a “je ne sais quoi“

Overall the built quality of this watch is outstanding.

That’s a sharp watch! I really like what Sugess is able to do at such an affordable price point, and I’ve been contemplating getting this one for a while now.
