Ups, I did it again .. Casio Duro is in da house !!

Casio Duro - the cheapest watch in my collection now ๐Ÿ˜‰. For the price a very good quality! I was little bit scared about the 44 mm diameter but it is not "so bad". Still wearing it and trying if it fits. I ordered a nato strap too in order to have both solutions. The bracelet is from Amazon (half price of the watch ๐Ÿ˜€) but I am not 100% satisfied because the lugs are little bit longer than the bracelet insert. Most probably I have to find another one. I was little bit surprised about the colour of the dial. I was expecting lighter blue but this one is a dark navy blue and I am very happy !!ย

Yes, the mighty Duro.

You have just reminded me I need to change the strap on mine as it isnโ€™t the most comfortable.

What strap do you use? Do you have some suggestions? Pictures?

Have the Blue and the Black and Gold. ย MUST COLLECT ALL DUROS! :)ย

Definitely can't go wrong with one and I actually caved and got one myself, just waiting on arrival.ย

If it wasn't 44mm I would own one, no question.ย

If I find the right bracelet and after some time the size of the watch will not bother me, I want to purchase the black and gold version ... ๐Ÿ˜‰

The gold one is on my list ๐Ÿ˜‰

That is what I thought too. 44 mm ... too big. But after I saw some YouTube videos where the people showed that the lug to lug is not large, I pulled the trigger ($ 60 is not a big investment). Now I am wearing it and it seems to be OK ... A 39-40 mm case would be a BIG DEAL !!!ย

I have a 40mm on my wrist right now, and as much as it pains me, I can only quote the great philosopher Harold Francis Callahan: "A man's got to know his limitations."

I was just using the standard rubber, but I swapped it out for this tonight as your post reminded me Iโ€™ve been meaning to do this for a while. This is a 22mm Bond-esque Zulu NATO; I was using it oversized on a franken-Fortis Flieger but moved that onto a olive/yellow stripe Marina Militaire. I think this is quite nice, much more comfortable.

It came!! Looks great. If you hadnโ€™t mentioned the lugs/bracelet I never would have noticed, but it is going to be awesome on the nato too.

Enjoy my friend!

I have the same black Duro always on the original strap but every time I see a post of a Duro with an after market strap, it remind me I can (and I have to) change it.

I would recommend it. I actually slept in it, it was very comfortable. Swapped back to the Cooper again this morning, but the NATO made all the difference.

I own the black and also the gold.

Seriously considering the green bezel to make it a trio.

ยท

Nothing better in the world at that price. ย I have a black bezel and blue/red thinking about the gold, love this watch.

ยท

I love my Duro. But then, I love Casios! Have my blue Duro on a brown leather strap. Also have a mesh strap if I fancy a change.

That bracelet looks amazing on the blue Duro, you have a good eye. I have the blue Duro on a Helm blue RS2 and I love it, color is close so the blues really pop the sunburst on the dial and it feels solid, but not heavy, its big but not so thick it doesn't slide under a cuff. Everything aligned, bezel feels crisp and precise, quartz accuracy, the Duro is a winner and the blue one is a looker!ย
