I've loved watches since I was around seven years old. While I love all watches from an enthusiast standpoint, personally, I have an affinty for divers. I'm not a collector but love learning about movements and all things related to watches. I own three watches - that's the perfect number for me.
Do any of you guys know what watch Joe Buck was wearing during last night's Texans v. Colts telecast? It kind of had a Panarai look to it; but the LtL...

I believe you but wonder why my new Sellita SW510 automatic feels like - if I keep winding it, anyway - it's going to break the resistance becomes so great? What do you guys think, here?

I guess I would put it like this; my Sellita sw510 automatic has a very luxurious, high-end, responsive and tactile feel - way more so than my ETA 2824-2s and Miyota 9075; the latter of which's crown is much easier to turn with practically zero tactile resistance when winding - dare I say it's "cheap feeling", relatively speaking, anyway. Hope that helps.
I have the dark night (Batgirl) and absolutely love it. There's a reason it's been sold out for a minute now. Congratulations - they're fantastic, high-quality watches that come with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty.
Also, good luck finding a thin mechanical chronograph; it just isn't possible. I find my Doxa's 15.85 thick case (including its boxed, double-domed sapphire crystal) sits very comfortably and perfectly balanced on its custom fitted FKM strap. It's actually one of the most comfortable watches I've ever owned - which, considering it's a chronograph, is a rare feat, indeed.
How about the Doxa sub 200 c-graph ii Caribbean - 200m, 42mm, 46LTL, 15.85mm thick? For a little under 3k, I now own the most beautiful blue dial chronograph I've ever owned (better looking and roughly the same price as my Sinn Arktis 203 from years ago). However, the Sinn Arktis 206 - which replaced 1999's 203 - is priced considerably higher at $4500.
That's a gorgeous Hanhart; they're fantastic, high-quality pieces that are very unique. Like me, I'd say you've made yourself a comfy way down the ol' rabbit hole. lol
