My top 3 watches of 2023
My collection grew quite a bit in 2023 and rather than fitting 30+ watches on one or two pictures for SOC. I picked my top three acquisitions for 2023.
My number one: Omega Dynamic Chrono
A watch that I was to afraid to spend 2k on eBay back in 2021. Went to Japan and found it used. It was a meant to be watch.
Number 2: King Seiko Tenjin-fuji violet.
An overprice beauty of a Seiko. To remember my Japan trip in March 2023. I even visited the Shrine LOL that inspired the dial.
My number 3. Selten 00 Natural Meteorite Dial
Pictures really don't do this dial justice. Is it worth $750 USD? Depends... What other watch gives you a real meteorite dial, moon-phase with two more pieces of meteorite one painted dark. The seconds hand is not painted blue they heat blue their second hands, Custom rotor. The marketing talk... if you just need a pretty dial you can spend wayyy less or find something cheaper on AliExpress.
Honorable mention: Hanhart 417es aka my grail.

I never seen that TAG or the way the GMT is implemented that's very nice. Something about GMTs on a green dial just works.

I agree I’ve been looking for a worldtimer with an automatic movement for a while and was really taken with the RW. The Tag is actually from 2011 it was still in great condition. I seemed to have gone a bit ott on gmts this year. Love your three that Selten looks huge, is it as big as it looks?

LOL. My camera angles and my small wrist always make even a 34mm look like 42mm. The Selten is 40mm.
LOL I guess 2023 was the year of the GMT. I got a Long Island GMT as well:

It wear very well at 39mm. I would recommend getting it from Japan seems it was very popular there. I got mines for 1500USD in March. If you need any specific pics DM me.
