No need for a Smart Watch when a Ring can do the job!

I wore an Apple Watch for a few years, and I must admit, the thing was great and was so comfortable to wear that I would frequently forget it was on my wrist.

However, once I got back into my mechanical watches, the Apple Watch was passed onto my wife (who absolutely loves it), so I am glad that it is still being used.

Having loved the health monitoring aspect of the Apple Watch, I ended up backing the RingConn smart ring on IndieGoGo at the start of this year. It arrived earlier this week and so far it has totally blown me away - my expectations were exceeded, as it includes many monitors and features that I wasn't expecting. The companion app is simply brilliant and can also push data to the iOS Health app (if you like).

Anyway, I thought this may help those that want to ditch their Smart Watch so they can wear their mech watches but still have a way to monitor their well-being/health.

My GF likes her Oura ring.

As soon as smart rings allow the ability to store and play music to wireless earbuds for running, I will gladly ditch my smart watch that I only wear for workouts.

Ah yeah, that would be the complete package!

My son recently bought one, mainly to tell him how well he slept. Amazing technology.

I’m astounded by this new marvel, I know some watches are making an integrated piece for your “Connected parts” on the watch bracelet etc.

My Apple Watch is going to be vintage very soon in my drawer😜 I want to wear my mechanicals on my wrist as often as possible. It this ring is 😎 cool. If it can connect with my phone etc. Just to measure up my ❤️ and steps etc

It sure does! The companion app can do all that and more (plus, it can push all the health stats to the iOS Health app too). It is a game changer (for me)
