Can't figure out the Fenix strap.
I ordered a new strap for my Garmin and somehow mistakenly chose the Fenix version. I installed the strap and found that when I tried to put the watch on my wrist the strap pulled off. Much time later, Google searches, YouTube and complete disassembly of the mechanism tried, it still will not stay on the watch. Close up examination shows the latch closes. I tried fatter spring bars. All to no avail. What is the problem here

So, you pushed down on the center section to open the spring-loaded retaining bars, put your springbars into the strap, released the center piece allowing the retaining bars to pop back into place and the strap somehow would not stay on?
