I’m adding a new watch to my collection and I was absolutely torn between 2 watches. I’m from in India and both the watches in the same price range here. I know that both are absolutely different types but you guys let me know which you think is better value and versatile.

Longines and Rado are tiered next to each other by Swatch Group, above Hamilton, Tissot but below Omega. I think for value, you get pretty much exactly the same watch/dollar from each. That’s the way Swatch planned it.
In this case, it really does come down to personal style and preference. I have multiple Longines and Rado. I cannot say that one is categorically better quality than the other even though they are very different. My choice just depends on how I feel on any given day.

As you pointed out, both this model is very similar underneath with subtle differences here and there. RADO as a brand more popular here (India) and Diastar is their most popular model. Longines is known only to watch enthusiasts here.
As you said, I may end up choosing what I like at the day of purchase. Let’s see. Cheers!

I agree. The legibility of skeleton watches always seems to suffer to me.

Beautiful watch indeed. I too like the Green more than the other two coloured Diastars
