Second hand delete

Hade anyone testet to do a second hand delete?

I think a dress watch looks much better with two hands than three. And it’s more common for manual wound movements to have 3Hz then 4Hz to elongate power reserve.

Sadly it’s not as common for more adorable dress watches and I wonder how it will look to just remove the second hand.

By the traditional definitions, a dress watch should not have a seconds hand because it implies a level of preoccupation with the time that is unbecoming of a guest at a formal event.

Personally, I like a seconds hand, love to watch it sweeping around, and I miss it when it's gone. But if you like it better without, more power to ya!

On a non-dress watch I love the sweeping hand, and would honestly never buy a 3Hz watch because of that. However on dress watches, which I won’t use everyday I think it looks more clean to only have two hands that ‘doesn’t seem to move’.

Everytime I’m bored I look at my watch and follow the seconds hand for a lap around the clock 😁

Got the idea from this video I found: https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/s/iR7fC2xA5G

Opposite, I need a second hand or I worry that the watch has stopped. If I want to minimize its presence I would look for a small seconds at the least.
