It’s nothing new the F-91W (and A158W) are being modded in a large scale for a particular purpose. This time not to harm anyone but to display time-based one-time passwords.

As a tech engineer, it’s quite difficult to wear a nice watch and have the best one for the job. I’m using an Apple Watch at work to easily get TOTP codes, and so the AW became my beater. Sometimes dual wrist or just a concession when I could mostly without it.

Maybe it’s a cool project to get one myself. The replacement board is $36.
