Retro Swatch purchase Real or Fake?

I have an old Swatch Irony from the 90's which I wore in high school. It has a cracked crystal which I wanted to replace, but no one services these watches.

I eventually found a seller from the Netherlands who does retro Swatch. I bought the same watch new from old stock with the mind to use it as replacement parts or just use it as it is.

But I noticed that the engraving on the caseback is missing the logo. Everything else looks the same and the watches both weight the same. Is this an earlier batch or a sample piece? Do others have this issue? My original watch is on the left, and the recent purchase is on the right side of the photo.
