Another Ebay purchase. I made sure that I bought the "Made in England" version, as they have the better movements. Possibly made in the 1950's.
I've taken the strap apart to clean it, lots of verdigris and human detritus ๐คข๐คฎ. But the strap seems to be very old, maybe the original, it is held together by a brass clasp. Seems a shame to separate them after all these years. Have to see if it doesn't fall apart. Gave it a dab with Isopropanol, then gave it some Renapur leather treatment.
Slightly eccentric, wicked sense of humour. Self confessed watch cheapskate, who tinkers with watches. Love motorbikes, to date, I've ridden about 250,000 miles, 113,000 of which are on my BMW 1150GS....

Absolutely gorgeous! What a simple understated dial, and a fantastic seconds hand arrow!

Just for you, a zoom in. I've given it a polywatch pish, needs to be done again though.

Just used contact adhesive inside to hold the inner and outers together on the strap.
