It is confusing and also depends on your definition of fake. The case of mine is not made by Sea-gull (that makes the movement) but clearly, they have no issue selling movements to this manufacturer.

Thx for the help .. Yeah i saw that early on by Jody, but still ambiguous a bit. Thats why Ive steered clear this last year plus. How did u buy yours and why not the Sea-Gull one that is the "closest to the original" with the hyphen? Is it the movement that is the main reason u bought yours, so where u bought it, the case didnt matter to u too much? Just the movement? Im just trying to understand how ppl buy this watch, and why the path they chose to buy it where they did?
