For Whimsical Wednesday, I present MoMA X Swatch, Girl by Roy Lichtenstein. It’s just too pretty to cover up any part of it. A piece from one of my favorite artists as wearable art! Hope you’re having a great day Crunchers!

A wonderful piece of Art for the Wrist, Mark. Not only was I tempted by this watch at Alicante airport last year, but.. true story.. a great number of years ago, I was dumped by a girlfriend at Christmas. Not wanting to socialise alone at New Year, I decided to book a flight to Copenhagen to see a Roy Lichtenstein exhibition I'd been reading about. I booked myself into an hotel I couldn't afford, went to the exhibition and then got drunk in a bar with a couple I met from Sweden. Had an amazing time 😉

I’ve been a fan since my university had an exhibition of his works, it was love at first sight. I even had a chance to get a signed print for $25 but I couldn’t spare the beer money for art back then 😢. They now go for over $500, oh to be young and that stupid I laugh every time I think of it 😂😂! Yours is a better story John!

I took History of Art at St Andrews University but strangely we didn't cover Lichtenstein.
