My 61 GS, came out of the Suwa Seikosha in 1969. If you are looking for a deep rabbit-hole to go down I can highly recommend vintage Seiko!

Nope, at least not this generation as I understand it. Seiko came up with bracelet options on select GS models during the 70s, not sure of the exact timing and details…more research down that rabbit hole!
Wanted to add, strap is from Ziczac leather in Vietnam-owner Cang does custom straps, great quality and affordable (around $50 per strap depending on materials). He’s made me many straps over the years, highly recommended (not a paid endorsement 😃)
