I love the faded and bleached look a well loved and worn aluminum bezel provides.
The old Rolexes that have gone from Pepsi to turquoise and orange are spectacular and speak to a life well lived.
I can’t afford a Rolex, not yet anyway.
So I was curious about what aluminum bezel watches you guys would recommend. I’ve looked at the Seiko SKX009 but without a sapphire crystal, no hacking, and lacking other features (magnetic resistance apparently being at a near 0) I’d like to explore other options.
Lets see what you guys can recommend!

The Willard and Slim turtle models comes with aluminium bezel. Except King models in Seiko entry level diver, most still uses steel and aluminium bezel insert. The higher end ones get the titanium carbide bezel insert.
Any price range you are have in mind?
That looks awesome! Really like the brown on grey.
And price range would be between 200-2000$ most likely.

Its green on green SPB153 😂
The aluminium bezel on this model is very dynamic especially under different lighting.
Pre-ceramic Hydroconquest...
Both of these are out of stock at the moment. But they will be back in stock. Between the two, the Imperial Royalguard has a true aluminum bezel, with an awesome color. The Lorier Hydra has a sapphire insert, just colored to be faded blue-ish.

It sucks that many models that initially used aluminum have all moved to ceramic - I’m not against ceramic but it would be nice to maybe save a few hundred bucks going with an aluminum bezel model or something.
But this watch is class man! Never seen it before, but I really dig it.

Very cool! Never heard of imperial, will have to check them out. Although the Lorier pic didn’t upload, just a grey block for me, but sounds like a very cool watch. Cheers

Thank you! I agree, I like the option of aluminum, especially on a watch where it will fade nicely.
