CITIZEN CB1120-50L

Hi Everyone

I purchased this Citizen Radio Controlled Watch.

Unfortunately the main minute hand is a fraction out on the indices/batons when the second hand hits 60 seconds. It's a fraction ahead on some and ok on others.

Anyone have the same problems with these watches. This is the main problem with a lot of quartz watches anyway .

But it's not a 50euro watch!!

use a protractor centered on the pinion to check if the indices are all 30 degrees apart. If it was old the gear slop would show at the end of the hand.

I have a Citizen Signature Flyback Chronograph and is also has a slight misalignment problem. The Chronograph minute sub dial has its hand slightly ahead by a half of a division. It is a $700+ watch, so it annoys me a bit when I look at it. But I've learned to live with it. It is not worth sending it out for adjustment.

I've seen that on any number of watches including ecodrive/RC watches. Life's too short to dwell on miniscule "percieved faults"

Any shots of the actual "problem?

😂. You have a point but I like things correct.

On a 7000dollar watch!! I would be very annoyed. Suppose I better live it.

Thanks for your comment
