It's a bit strange

After more than a week wearing no date watches, the bronze Yema Superman with its cool Bordeaux red sapphire bezel's insert is the first analog watch that I'm wearing that has a date window.

It's a bit strange but I'm sure that soon I'll get over the fact that now I can see what date it is on top of being able to read the time. I truly live in a time of progress and I'm excited about the future, maybe one day they will also add self winding mechanism? The mind boggles.

Yema makes for my aesthetic tastes the best looking bronze watches. The red bezel and gilt markers is manufique! Also really like their bronze with their blue dials.

Interestingly I think bronze are the only Superman models I have seen with applied markers (in this configuration, know other applied dials exist for Yema), the rest are painted. Which does my retro re-issue is perfectly fine.

Again- amazing watch! Enjoy and wear in good health!!

They had a few models where they decided to get fancy and one of them is the original Kickstarter Superman GMT, which also had applied indices.

My specific model is no longer sold, which IMO is unfortunate because it was one of their more elegant and dressier offering.
