IWC Spitfire Alternative
What are your thoughts on this IWC Spitfire alternative?
Before you is the Hodinkee x Hamilton collaboration on the Hamilton Mechanical Field Khaki.
I’ve had three IWCs (two pilot chronographs and a Mark 18) and all had issues in terms of fit. The lug to lug on the Mark 18 was just to long for my 7.25 inch wrist.
To make the Mark 18 fit property I had to put it on a NATO. I chose the Hamilton NATOs. Eventually I realized the IWC required to many accommodations to make it work.
I purchased this Hamilton from Hodinkee and it seems to scratch the itch. Especially when I put it in a green Hamilton NATO.

Always like to see a seconds hand with some pop of color ✌️
It’s all about what works for you. I like the look of both.
I Love the look of the iwc,but massively overpriced like most iwc watches,so I went with the khaki,field watches aren't for luxury budgets in my opinion.
