Newish YouTube Channel: Watchbox Diaries

This channel is almost 2 years old but showed up on my feed. Shout out to Watch Box Diaries. Not bad videos and the definition quality on the shots is pretty impressive.

Had a pleasant discussion with her this morning about the thickness of the piece. My handle on Youtube is LTC_Tiger if you want to see our exchange.

Not to be negative, but I found her video lacking in basic information and watch specs. I was hoping for a little more. I’ll try one of her other videos.

When I discover a watch YouTuber who's got some unformed talent but could be a decent contributor, I'll help bring some attention to their work. I'm sure they can also benefit from the audience feedback and bring up their game let alone bring some solid content in the future. This is all diamond in rough because I had similar observations. The camera and macro is pretty decent when, coupled with some technical knowledge could be a winner.

I haven't watched this video, but I don't know why one would need much in the way of spec info from these videos...I can get this information from the company's website more quickly and directly. If I'm watching a video about a watch, I'm more interested in the individual's point of view on said watch, especially if it's a watch I have some interest in, because then I might watch several videos on the watch and it gets a bit boring hearing the same things over and over.

I couldn’t agree more.

IMHO, if you’re going to review a watch, not only do I want to hear a reviewer’s opinion, I want the basic specs. I think this is watch review 101. Give your audience all the pertinent information.
