Maybe THIS is why I don't look at Citizen

We got this watch over a year ago for my step-daughter graduating college. She picked it out and has worn it often but not religiously as she's an iPhone addict. In packing the house for our move I came across her watch and saw the dial. She knew it happened some time ago but didn't want to upset us, thinking she did something wrong. No way in hell she did. It's not like this cost Rolex money but it is nice and moreso special. Probabaly should have gotten her a G-Shock. 😠😡🤬

What happened?

I blame Roman numerals, just can't trust 'em.

·

That's a great reason to swear off a brand.

FWIW I have and have had multiple Citizens and never encountered a problem.

·

In that case I'm calling Aurel Bacs right now....

Exactly the same thing happened with my citizen eco drive. The lightest knock and the 12 minute marker or numeral proceeded to rattle around inside the watch. Took it to a local “watch specialist” and was happily told it would cost £30 to put right🤷‍♂️seemed fair, I think! Until I collected the watch to find it had been placed back on its original 12 o clock spot…. Back to front🤦‍♂️not citizen’s fault, but I’ll never look at another

Didn't bang it, drop it or anything. She just picked it up one day and noticed it.
