Of course quartz can be legit! I have owned both the Seiko Arnie Tuna and the Seiko Marine Master Tuna, both quartz. And just think about the Citizen AquaLand or the G-Shock Frogman 😊 I appreciate mechanical watches for what they represent in a digital world and for the few perks they have. But quartz should be in most toolwatches if you think about it, if function and durability is prioritized.
