Best thing of returning from vacation

I prefer not to travel too heavy when it comes to watches, especially when in a far away country. So typically I travel with one cheaper and under the radar watch which leaves me missing the rest of my collection at times.

All that makes me realise how happy and fortunate I am with the collection I currently have when I come back home after a long trip.

How do you peeps deal with traveling and the ‘restrictions’ that poses?

That's a great (post) holiday watch. Goes perfectly with the Breton stripe.

I have a six watch roll which I usually fill. Usually I don't worry about what I'm taking but if I was staying somewhere less secure then I'd just take an inexpensive selection - a benefit of keeping a varied collection!

What a good looking watch! I particularly like the minute hand. I realize I'm not answering your question but I did want to comment on the watch.

I travel quite a bit for work. I have a three watch roll that I usually travel with or I have a strap case (because organization makes me happy). But usually I plan the watches based on what I am doing. Usually a sports watch, dress watch, my garmin and one on the wrist. If I am going outside of my time zone I always have a GMT.

Very fair way of thinking!

Ive used this approach a few times as well on some business trips over the past year but untimately for a long vacation I dont think Id be comfortable with leaving some bigger pieces in hotel rooms…
