My new PMD56-2952 JDM watch
I've been looking for a long time for the right field watch that gets everything right for me. (And have bought many) I have finally found that in this watch! I absolutely love this watch! 40mm check, titanium check, large arabic numerals check, day date check, solar powered check, 20mm lug spacing for straps check, sapphire crystal check, comfortable bracelet with push button extension check, excellent lume check, anti reflective coating check, atomic time setting check (with qualifier). It's tough, easy to read at a glance, it's very handsome and masculine, and as it stands it's the favorite of my box!

Mate I’ve checking these out for well over a year now but just haven’t pulled the trigger and bought one. They would be an excellent grab and go watch and look to be tough and would last a lifetime.
I use a watch for work and hesitate to wear some of my watches at work because I work on the railway and around heavy machinery, so not very kind to watches. I think after seeing your post I’m just going to pull that trigger and finally get one for myself.

Tony, I hear ya. I have more expensive watches that i never wear for fear of damaging them. I manage a machine shop and am constantly in and out of cnc machines, and never worry about this one.
One piece of advice, being jdm market only, they will not sync outside of the country of Japan, so, as part of my morning ritual, I use my tablet running jjy emulator to updare my watch to atomic time.

I own the black DLC version that I purchased for all the same reasons. Great grab and go watch although setting the time can be quite the process.
Now THIS is truly a tool watch. No glossy ceramic. No polish. No chamfered edges. No winding. No hacking. Just tells the time, day and date. Every day. Accurately
I discovered this model few days back and now I can't sleep since.
I'm this close to pull the trigger in I find one in Europe at a decent price.
