A 43 year old Seiko digital A714-5059

Hi there folks.

This one caught the eye this morning. The LCD display is flawless. Not too shabby for a 43 year old.

Does anyone know whether a shop bought jewellery cleaner, is likely to clean up the bezel of the watch?

Happy Friday.

I’d keep it as is. It’s beautiful

I would absolutely agree with leaving it as is and not doing any serious cleaning or restoring.

Nice Seiko 👌

Dont clean that. The patina on that thing looks fantastic.

Thanks WristCounselor.

Yes, it’s not in a ‘bad’ condition and perhaps it’s part of the charm of this mature watch. Thanks for your reply. Nick

Thanks Michael. It’s not as though it’s an eyesore! Plus I don’t think I’d like it too ‘shiny’.

Look, I’m the guy who posted about gold plated watches and posers. This isn’t a poser watch. It’s a classic and I think the imperfections make it even more special
